Sociologist, political economist, currently a researcher at the University of Cambridge, former Member of Parliament, chair of Progressive Hungary Foundation. In his research, he focuses on privatization and, more broadly, social and political effects of the economic transformation and globalization. As regards these issues, he has published several books and scientific articles in Hungarian and English. As a representative, he dealt with economic and social policies; he is the editor of several alternative budget proposals. Economist, political scientist. He studied at the Budapest Corvinus University, the University of Virginia and at ELTE (Faculty of Law). He is currently a research fellow at the Centre for Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His research includes political economy, comparative public policy and economic policy.
